If you need to know things just ask…
First step into crypto begins with your safety and security.
1. create a new email address that will be used specifically for your crypto dealing.
preferably not with your real name.
2. Anti virus on your computer & mobile devices.
3. VPN – hides your identity & location online.
4. Use complicated passwords with lower cases, capital latter, symbols & numbers. and dont use same password for different platforms.
5. Use Google Authenticator App (2FA) as a 2nd layer safety solution for everything!
6. Not your keys = not your coins!
Never leave your coins on any exchanges, always withdraw it to your wallet.(keys = coins coding address)
7. Never give anyone for any reason your “private key” (12 words you received when you initiated your wallet)
8. never deal with crypto with your mobile phone WIFI or bluetooth on!!! never on public networks!!!
that is how hackers get in.
9. when dealing with your passwords/ login/ connecting your crypto wallets with platforms. Always make sure that your mobile camera is kept away from documentation!! Any app on your phone which has access to your camera is basically a sleeping spy..
10. its better to avoid storing your funds on mobile as it is the easiest target. PC wallet are safer but hardware wallets are the safest!!!
11. Never keep your passwords on any digital form such as file, pic, email, sms, word or pdf documents, etc… it is subjected to hacking risks.
12. keep your 12-24 words phrase of your wallet in well hidden location. split it to 2 or 3 sets of words rather than 1 list in 1 place. more safety!!
